Last year Alberta outscored us 4,672 to  4,015. The provincial scores from last year are a bit skewed because of the large number of Ontario clubs that attended. In 2008 we outscored Alberta 5,560 to 5,521. There were more Eastern teams at that meet as well but they did not have as big an effect on the scoring as last year with Etobicoke in particular.

Some observations:

We were more successful in the butterfly, breaststroke and I.M. events. We often had lots of depth in the finals especially in the Youth finals but the medals were going elsewhere.

Only one relay medal (SFA men 4 x 100 medley)

Only two medals in the 100 and 200 Freestyles, both genders. (David Hibberd (SFU) 100 free, Keegan Zanatta (IS) 200 free)

No medals in backstroke for the women.
