Momentum Multi-Sport has put together a pair of swim coach clinics, on consecutive days - May 8-9, 2010 - with the first being in Vancouver and then Victoria the next day. These clinics are designed for Junior Coaches working within your programs and a number of coaches from the BC Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) is expected as well.
Below are links to information sheets on each of the clinics. Each clinic is limited in size so register early to ensure you don't miss out.
Please be aware that while these clinics are almost sure to be enlightening and informative, they are not part of the NCCP pathway, nor are they sponsored by SwimBC.
On Saturday May 8th the clinic in Vancouver (UBC) will feature 2008 Olympic Team Head Coach, and Head Coach of the Vancouver National Swim Centre Tom Johnson speaking about all four strokes along with Eugene Liang talking to coaches about dryland programming.
On Sunday May 9th the clinic in Victoria (Saanich Commonwealth Place) will feature 2009 World Championship Team Head Coach and Head Coach of the Victoria Academy of Swimming Randy Bennett talking about all four strokes and Dr. Allan Wrigley speaking about Starts and Turns.
Information on each clinic is attached.
