Day 3 at 2012 Zajac Invitational

The final day of competition at the 2012 Mel Zajac Jr. International Invitational wrapped up with some more record-breaking performances, headlined by Canadian Olympians, Scott Dickens and Brent Hayden, both of whom swim for VAND at the National Training Centre in Vancouver.

Dickens set a new meet record in the men's 50 Breast, winning that event in 27.98.

Shortly thereafter, in what was the most exciting event of the evening, Hayden took a commanding lead in the men's 100 Free, then barely held off a hard-charging Park Tae-Hwan to win in 49.45.

At the end of the meet, prize money was handed out to the swimmers who posted the Top5 world-ranked swims for both men and women.
