The final day of the 2014 Summer Nationals in Saskatoon continued the theme established in the first three days of young swimmers, particularly those from BC, stepping up and delivering performances that earned them a trip to the medal podium.
Danica Ludlow (ISC) continued her solid performance throughout the meet, adding a silver in the 800 Free to the golds she won in 200 and 400 Free earlier in the week. Noemie Thomas (UBCD) followed that up with a win in the women's 200 Fly, and she was followed by Haley Black (PGB) who won her first ever Senior National medal with the silver.
Alec Page (ISC) continued his strong swimming through the meet with a gold in the men's 200 IM and silver in 200 IM. Erin Stamp (UBCD) took her first step to the top of the podium as well with a win in the women's 200 IM.
Eric Hedlin and Peter Brothers (ISC) wrapped up the individual events at the meet by taking silver and bronze, respectively, in the men's 1500 Free, while UBCD women took silver in the 4x100 Medley Relay and ISC won bronze in the men's event.
