The host UVic-Pacific Coast Swimming continues to hold the overall team scoring lead after three days of competition at the 2014 SwimBC Long Course AAA Championships being held at Saanich Commonwealth Place.
With UVPCS holding a lead of over 600 points over second-place Island Swimming, it seems unlikely that UVPCS will be moved off the top rung. The battle for second place is very close, though, as ISC (1440 points) and Richmond Rapids (1409.5 points) traded second and third over the course of the evening.
Hyack Swim Club (1197.5) and Vancouver Pacific Swim Club (1157) rounded out the top five.
Congratulations to Dalton Boon (WDSC), who established a new Canadian record in the men's 100 Free for para-swimmers in the S14 class with a time of 57.29 seconds. This comes in addition to Canadian record he holds in 50 Free.
