External credits are available for swimmers registered with Swim BC who have met the following criteria:
- Athlete 10: 13-14 female / 13-14 male Swim BC Provincial Championship qualifying standard or BC Summer Games participation
- Athlete 11: Swimming Canada Junior Trials qualifying standard
- Athlete 12: Swimming Canada Canadian Open qualifying standard
Regardless of when the performance was achieved, the times will be compared against the current season’s time standards to make the determination of a swimmer’s eligibility for credit. The current BC time standards can be found here. The Swimming Canada Time standards can be found here.
To apply for credit, please fill out the application form. Swim BC will review the submission and email the applicant a letter that can be presented to their school counsellor.
