SwimBC Registration:
Swimmers, Coaches, Clubs, Associations

All swimmer, coach, club, and association registrations are done through the new Swimming Canada Registration site.  The registration system will be shut down near the end of August each season, and then re-open with password-protected access provided to Club Registrars only.

Club Registrars must complete and submit their applications for access along with their club registration fees before being granted login access. There is also an additional user system access registration waiver for other club representatives requiring access to the SNC Registration system.

2016-2017 Registration Information

The annual membership fee increases, as established by SwimBC policy, will be applied for the 2016-2017 season. This means that SwimBC's portion of registration fees will increase by $2/swimmer in competitive categories and $1/swimmer in non-competitive categories.  This will be in addition to the Swimming Canada increase of $1 per swimmer.

The combined SwimBC/SNC registration fees for 2016-2017, then, are as follows:

Non-Competitive Swimmers:

  • I Can Swim (any age):  $30.00 (available only to those programs operating and partnered with I Can Swim)
  • Non-Competitive (any age):  $42.00

Competitive Swimmers (age as of December 31, 2016):

  • 8&U:  $85.00
  • 9-10:  $105.00
  • 11-14:  $151.00
  • 15&O:  $193.00

University Swimmers:

  • University-Varsity: $55.00 (valid only Sept. 1 to March 31)
  • Open-Varsity: $138.00

A few important things to remember:

  1. ALL swimmers who train or compete for a swim club, regardless of age or ability, MUST be registered through the SNC Registration system.
  2. ALL coaches, whether volunteer, paid, part-time, or full-time, MUST be registered with both:
    1. SwimBC/SNC - done through the SNC Registration site
    2. BCSCA/CSCTA - done through the CSCTA website
  3. For ALL registrations, whether coach, swimmer, club, association, registration is not completed until the invoice for that/those registrations have been paid for in full and received by SwimBC.
