BC Swimmers Named in 2026 Class of Swimming Canada HPC Scholarship Program

Swimming Canada has announced its 2026 High Performance Centre (HPC) Scholarship recipients, with four BC swimmers selected as part of this year’s cohort.
Congratulations to Shima Taghavi of Hyack Swim Club, coached by Andrew Lennstrom; Abigail McLeod of Winskill Dolphins Swim Club, coached by Judy Baker; and Kelly Choi and Liam Chew of Kelowna Aquajets Swim Club, both coached by Marc Tremblay, on their selection to the scholarship program.
This program provides targeted support to athletes, helping them access world-class daily training environments at Swimming Canada’s High-Performance Centres.
