Welcoming Our New Events & Administration Intern

Swim BC is excited to welcome Bodie Simard as our Events and Administration Intern. Bodie has been a member of the BC swimming community for many years, competing for 11 years, including at the varsity level, before retiring from the sport last year.

Currently based in Victoria, Bodie is entering his third year at the Gustavson School of Business at UVic. He was drawn to this role because it offers a unique opportunity to combine his swimming background with the business knowledge and skills he is developing through his studies.

Bodie will be with Swim BC through August, where he will gain hands-on experience in sports operations, logistics, and event management. He is looking forward to working with the community, continuing to learn, and supporting the sport throughout the season.
