Swim BC is proud to announce the appointment of Savannah King as our new Director of Coach and Performance Development. A two-time Olympian and former Canadian record holder, King brings a wealth of high-performance experience to the role, both in and out of the pool. Over the past decade, she has established herself as a respected coach and leader in Canadian swimming, most recently serving as Associate Head Coach of McGill University’s Varsity Swim Team. Her coaching résumé also includes roles with the Canadian Swim Coaches Association and Swimming Canada’s coaching staff at the 2021 and 2024 Short Course World Championships. In addition to her coaching credentials, King has a strong academic and administrative background, holding a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in Kinesiology (Biomechanics) from McGill University.
