
Masters Swimmers
Masters Registration
All Masters swimmers must complete annual registration through the Swimming Canada REMS to be eligible for sanctioned competitions and programs..- Identify your club: Determine which registered Swim BC you will be swimming with.
- Obtain Registration Link: You club registrar will register you in REMS and you will receive an email with a link to your account for the current season.
- Complete Swimming Canada Registration: Login to REMS and complete all required annual waivers and declarations.
- Verify Status: Confirm with your club that your status shows as ‘Registered’ prior to entering a sanctioned competition.
Individuals who live in communities where there is not a masters club may join the Dogwood Swim Club, which is the name of Swim BC’s unattached masters. Unattached masters do not receive formal coaching and are responsible for their own training and submission of their own competition entries.

How to Register for a Masters Meet
Ready to race? All Canadian Masters meet entries are now handled through REMS. Just make sure your membership is fully registered (Active) before you dive in—otherwise, you won’t be able to access the entry module.

Swimming Canada Masters Challenge
Current Challenge – Feb 2026
The February Challenge is a 100m Free swim. Start in water or from a dive. Record your time – Fins and/or paddles are not permitted. Results must be submitted by March 5, 2026
Individuals can submit their results – HERE
Coaches can download the Excel template for the month to submit team results; instructions on how to submit team results can be found in the spreadsheet.
55+ BC Games
The 2026 55+ BC Games Kamloops – Sept 8-12, 2026
Participant Registration opens March 2026.To prepare for the start of registration in the registration system, participants need to create an account head of time and purchase a membership. Keep your username and password information saved for future logins and registrations.

Pending Canadian Records Swam at Foreign Meets: If you believe you swam a pending Canadian records at a foreign meet (outside of Canada), please have the Canadian Record Application Form. If you have any questions regarding Canadian Records swam at Foreign Meets, contact the Swimming Canada Masters Inbox at masters@swimming.ca.
Pending BC Records Swam at Foreign Meets: If you believe you swam a pending BC records at a foreign meet (outside of Canada), please have meet management submit meet results files for any/all foreign competitions, including the United States, using the Swimming Canada International Results Upload form. Note that only able to process Hytek (CL2, ZIP) or Splash (SD3) results files.
