COVID-19 / RETURN TO SWIMMING INFORMATION

February 2, 2022

The information contained in this bulletin is current as of February 02, 2022.

A quick update for our membership regarding proof of vaccine for 12-year-olds. In the Order on Gatherings & Events, the PHO has amended the definition of “vaccinated” to include an accommodation for those 12-year-olds who have only received one dose. This allows those youth who aren’t yet eligible for their second dose to participate and/or spectate as long as they can show proof of one dose.

We’d also like to reiterate and amplify the message that people should be staying home if they’re not feeling well or have any symptoms of COVID-19. This reminder is key to keeping our sport environment safe, especially now that the isolation period has been shortened for vaccinated people.

If you require further information, please email or phone Executive Director Ken Radford.
