SWIM BC SUMMER DIVISIONAL MEETS AND PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

It’s my unfortunate task to inform our membership of the official cancellation of the BC Summer Divisional competitions and BC Championships.  While we held out an optimistic perspective that we might see a return to competition that would permit these meets to go forward, in the end there are no facilities that are willing to take any type of booking for these meets, and further, as we monitor the BC Ministry of Health response to the current COVID-19 status it is clear that we will be encumbered with Gatherings and Event restrictions well into the summer and beyond.  In place of these meets, Swim BC technical staff will work with the Competitions Committee to frame virtual competitions similar to those we’ve recently conducted.
