2017 AAA SCM Champs - Day 3

Day 3 of the 2017 SwimBC AAA SCM Championships ended with lots of best times and close races. Some highlights of the night included 16-18 Boys 100m freestyle where Mathew Fuller (ISC) won the event with a time of 51.60, with the top 4 racers finishing within less than a second of each other; the girls 12/13 400 IM final, where the top 3 girls all managed to beat their morning times by at least 5 seconds, and was won by Ashley McMillan (KISU) with a time of 5:04.13; and the boys 12/13 200m backstroke final was won by Hugh McNeill (LOSC), with all top 3 boys dropping time from their morning swims.

UVPCS 14 & under relay teams continued to dominate and break records on Saturday. The girls A and B team not only managed to sneak under the old record with a time of 1:59.23, but also captured both the gold and bronze in the event. On the boys side, the UVPCS A team won gold with a record breaking time of 1:50.55, while the B team captured the bronze.

ISC, UVPCS and HYACK continue to battle it out for the top spot going into the final day of racing.
