Swimming Canada Announces New Board of Directors

BANFF – (October 24, 2010) The national governing body for competitive swimming in Canada, Swimming Canada, is pleased to announce the new additions to its board of directors following what was said to be a greatly successful AGM in Banff, Alberta this past weekend. Swimming Canada delegates from across the country welcomed newly appointed President, David de Vlieger of Calgary, Alberta, and Vice-President Sean Finn of St-Lambert, Quebec, as well as newly elected board directors Sandy Lowther of PEI, Jim Shaw of Toronto, On, and Dorothy Miller of North Vancouver, BC (re-elect), and returning Directors Anne Bell of Toronto (Secretary) and David Davidson of Halifax.
